I lost the link

If you set the household up, your email address gets it back. If you joined with a code, ask the person who did.

If you set the household up, go to https://baybay.xyz/ and enter your email address. Your link is sent back to you.

If you joined with a household code, ask whoever set it up — your address cannot be recovered by email, because you never gave one.

If it was a demo, neither applies: a demo has no email address on file at all. Getting back into a demo is a different route, and a shorter one.

Recovering it by email

The Find your baybay screen: a single field for the email address you signed up with, and a Send my link button.
Enter the email you signed up with and the address comes back.
  1. Go to https://baybay.xyz/.
  2. Enter the email address you signed up with — the one you paid with, if you are on the hosted plan.
  3. Open the email and follow the link. You are signed straight in.
  4. Save the address properly this time. Adding it to your home screen is the version that survives a cleared browser.

Nothing arrived

  • Check spam. This is nearly always it.
  • Check the address. It has to be the exact one on file. A different address of yours will not match, and for privacy the form says the same thing either way rather than confirming which addresses exist.
  • Give it a minute. Mail is usually instant but not always.

If you joined with a code

Only the person who set the household up has an email address on file. Everyone who joined with the code — partners included — gets back in the same way they got in the first time: the address, and the code.

So ask them to send you both again, from Settings.

Nobody remembers anything

Hosted plan

If your household is one we run and none of the above works, write to us from the email address you pay with and we will sort it out. Getting you back in when a phone goes missing is part of what the plan is for.
