# Terms

> The short version, which is also the long version: what you pay, what you keep, and what happens if we ever stop.

- **The deal.** $7 a month for the hosted service, starting when you subscribe. Cancel any time from the customer portal.
- **Refunds.** If a charge felt wrong, email [hello@baybay.baby](mailto:hello@baybay.baby) within 30 days and it is refunded. No form, no argument.
- **Your data.** Yours. Export it whole at any time. After cancellation it stays exportable for 30 days and is then deleted.
- **Our side.** We keep the service running, updated and backed up daily. If something breaks we say so plainly and fix it.
- **Continuity.** The application is MIT licensed and public. If the service ever shut down, you would get notice, an export, and the same free code to run anywhere.
- **Fair use.** One household per subscription; a household is one family and the people who help with their baby.
- **Not medical advice.** baybay records what you tell it. It does not diagnose, alert or advise — talk to a paediatrician, not a chart.
