# What the code lets someone do

> Somebody who joins with your household code can log, and cannot change your settings, your children or your code.

They can log feeds and sleeps, and edit the entries. They cannot change your settings, your children, your bottle amounts or the code itself, and they cannot delete anything beyond individual entries.

## What somebody with the code can do

- Log feeds and sleeps, and start and end timers.
- Edit or delete individual entries — including ones you logged.
- See the dashboard, the charts and the whole history.
- See the daily rhythm, if you have set one.

## What they cannot do

- Open **Settings** at all.
- See or change the household code.
- Add, rename or archive a child.
- Change the bottle shortcut amounts.
- Sign other devices out.
- Export the data, or delete the household.

All of that stays with you, as the person who set the household up. Handing somebody the code is handing them the logging screen, not the account.

## Taking access away

Create a new code in **Settings**. Everyone who joined with the old one is signed out immediately, and you stay signed in.

> It signs out **everyone** who used the old code, not just the person you had in mind. If your partner joined that way too, send them the new one.

## Can they see it after they stop looking after your baby?

Only until you change the code. There is no per-person access to revoke, because there are no accounts to revoke it from — one code, and rotating it is how access ends. It takes about ten seconds and is worth doing when a regular sitter stops.
